Teen Therapy
Psychodynamic therapy for teenagers in Hollywood for anxiety, depression, and identity challenges.
Adolescence is a period of intense change. Therapy provides teenagers with a supportive and confidential space to explore identity, manage emotions, and navigate the pressures of becoming oneself.
Psychodynamic therapy helps teenagers make sense of their internal experiences while attending to their developmental needs. Collaboration with parents is carefully handled to support treatment goals.
I specialize in a variety of presenting concerns for teenagers including:
Anxiety and Panic
Depression and Mood Changes
Academic and Performance Pressure
Social and Peer Relationships
Identity Development and Self Esteem
Family Conflict
Social Withdrawal
Emotional Disturbance
Gender and Sexual Identity Support
I also work with potential personality disorders, prodromal psychosis, and neurodivergence. I have experience working with a diverse variety of social identities and enjoy supporting exploration associated with the relationship between self and culture.
Sometimes just “feeling weird” can be a perfect place to start a meaningful transformation in therapy.
